An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Electrical / Design Engineer to join a growing aviation engineering team supporting aircraft upgrade and modification programmes.
This role will focus on aircraft interior systems, electrical integration, and avionic modifications within a certified aviation engineering environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, analysis, and integration of aircraft electrical systems across a range of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design aircraft wiring systems and harnesses, including connectors, circuit breakers, and associated electrical components
- Produce and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) for aircraft integration projects
- Perform Electrical Load Analysis and generate technical reports
- Conduct EWIS and EZAP assessments and prepare associated documentation
- Source and assess electrical components to meet technical and certification requirements
- Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
- Estimate engineering effort and support continuous improvement of engineering processes
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input on electrical integration solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Previous Safety Management System (SMS) training within aviation design, production, or maintenance
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong knowledge of CS23, CS25, and CS27 airworthiness regulations
- Good understanding of EASA Part 21 requirements
- Experience producing technical reports and engineering documentation
- Proven experience working with aircraft electrical systems and avionics integration
