You will deliver high-quality social work services in line with the policies and objectives of the Children, Schools & Families department, ensuring the safeguarding and promotion of welfare remains at the heart of your practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children and families within the CWD service
- Undertake comprehensive assessments of need and risk
- Develop, implement, and review care plans tailored to individual needs
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to deliver effective interventions
- Ensure appropriate resources are identified and utilised to safeguard children
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory requirements
- Promote positive outcomes for children, young people, and their families/carers
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
- Proven experience working with children and families, ideally within a CWD setting
- Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and safeguarding procedures
